Group Standard Announcement | The standard “Guidelines for the Design of Fault Prediction and Health Management Systems for Conveying Equipment,” in which our company participated, has been officially released and put into effect.

2026-09-09

Recently, the group standard T/CIS 53001—2026, “Guidelines for the Design of Fault Prediction and Health Management Systems for Conveying Equipment,” spearheaded by the Chinese Society of Instrumentation, has been officially released. Jiangsu Xindao Ge, a specialized, refined, distinctive, and innovative enterprise in the field of sensing and measurement‑control, participated in the drafting and validation of this standard.

Prognostic and Health Management (PHM) technology is currently still in the development stage. The market offers both domestically developed fault‑prognosis and health‑management systems for conveying equipment and imported solutions based on foreign technologies, and the industry has yet to establish a comprehensive, unified set of standards and specifications.

As a core participating organization, our company was deeply involved throughout the entire standard‑drafting process, integrating years of field‑engineering expertise and cutting‑edge technological achievements into the standard framework. This ensured the standard’s practical applicability, scientific rigor, and broad usability, thereby underscoring our company’s technical prowess and industry influence in the field of PHM‑based intelligent operations and maintenance for conveying equipment.

This guideline has been prepared in strict accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020, “Guidelines for Standardization Work,” and defines the fundamental concepts of conveying equipment and fault prediction and health management systems, thereby delivering multiple benefits to the industry:

01) Unified Design Standards :

Clearly define the design rationale and implementation roadmap for the PHM system of conveying equipment, providing a standardized reference framework for project scoping, system development, and engineering deployment.

02) Empowering Predictive Maintenance :

Guide enterprises in establishing an integrated management system for condition monitoring, data analytics, fault early warning, and health assessment, thereby reducing the risk of unplanned downtime.

03) Accelerate industrial upgrading :

Promote the intelligent transformation of conveyor equipment operations and maintenance, helping industrial and mining enterprises achieve refined, full‑lifecycle asset management and generate significant economic benefits.

04) Streamline the industry–university–research collaboration pathway :

It establishes a unified benchmark for technical exchange among equipment manufacturers, system integrators, industrial and mining users, and research institutions, thereby facilitating the practical application and commercialization of industry‑driven technological advances.

The promulgation and implementation of T/CIS 53001—2026, “Guidelines for the Design of Fault Prediction and Health Management Systems for Conveying Equipment,” marks the official entry of China’s predictive health management for conveying equipment into a new phase of standardized and normative development. Going forward, this standard will continue to guide the high‑quality, intelligent operation and maintenance of conveying equipment, helping the industrial sector achieve new objectives in safe, efficient, and smart operations and maintenance.
